With a background in Cultural Anthropology, his work explores how identity, belief and power are constructed and expressed in daily life, with a particular focus on cultural symbolism, political imagery and propaganda surrounding elections, religion and social movements.

Having lived and worked across Africa for several years—including Mauritania and Malawi—and now based in Uganda, his approach is rooted in long-term immersion rather than short-term assignments.
